- Pupils know how to use comparative structures 'plus/moins/aussi...que' with adjectives and adverbs.
- Pupils know the indefinite articles un, une and des.
- Pupils know to use the partitive article (du, de la, des, de l') for parts and with uncountable nouns.
- Pupils know to use 'de' after expressions of quantity.
- Pupils can recognise and use a range of -er, -re and -ir verbs in the present tense.
