Common misconception
An extended 150-word writing task should be planned as one complete task.
It is helpful to break down an extended writing task into two paragraphs and then to further break down those paragraphs. This allows students to manage the length of the task by treating it as four smaller connected tasks.

For the extended writing task, encourage students to refer to their personal repertoire for this topic, adding any new words they find helpful to compose their answer.
