- [sch] is pronounced like English 'sh', as in 'schreiben' and [sp] sounds like English 'sh' before 'p', as in 'spielen'.
- At the start of a word, and in compound nouns and some verbs, [st] sounds like the English 'sht', as in ‘stark'.
- The BORDER acronym is a useful tool to respond fully and accurately to bullet point writing prompts.
- To develop answers, you can add information about another person, add a contrast or add another time frame.
- You can extend written answers by adding a subordinate clause, a relative clause, or an infinitive construction.
