- Pronunciation is important for clear communication. Pay particular attention to the pronunciation of cognates.
- To form the future tense, use the present tense of werden to mean 'will/going to’ and an infinitive verb at the end.
- Use a future time phrase with the present tense to mean 'going to' or ‘-ing’, e.g., 'tomorrow I’m doing my homework'.
- 'Ich will' (from the verb 'wollen') means 'I want to', but is a false friend; 'ich werde' is 'I will'.
