Key learning points

  1. When performing a role-play, answers should be a short phrase or sentence. Do not add unnecessary detail.
  2. When describing a photo, use the acronym PALM. It stands for People, Action, Location, Mood. Add your own opinions too.
  3. A well-developed response in conversation has at least three verb clauses.
  4. Extend your answers by using a different tense, a different subject, or opinions and reasons.
