- The prepositions 'zu', 'nach' and 'in' can all mean 'to'.
- 'In das' contracts to 'ins' and 'in dem' contracts to 'im'. 'Zu dem' contracts to 'zum' and 'zu der' contracts to 'zur'.
- ‘Zu Hause’ means ‘at home’ and ‘nach Hause’ is used for 'going (to) home'.
