Common misconception
Some pupils neglect the value of, and need for teamwork, opting to try and dribble the ball each time they receive it.
Encourage pupils to make the correct decisions as when to pass and when to dribble. Also ensure to implement rules where all pupils must touch the ball before scoring.
Teacher tip
Using mixed ability groups for the activities will allow pupils to learn from each other promoting inclusion and diverse learning opportunities.
