Common misconception
Pupils think that when performing mirroring duets they should remain on the spot.
Mirroring duets typically remain in situ (and may need to for safety reasons e.g. in a small space), but they should be encouraged to lean towards or away from their partner, as well as move sideways to prevent the work from becoming purely gestural.
