Common misconception
Mirroring and copying are the same
Mirroring is a type of copying, it specifically requires the movement to be translated to the opposite side of the body to produce the effect of a reflection. Copying can be a direct replication of the action.
Teacher tip
Ensure pupils are sufficiently apart to be able to view their partners' actions easily.
