Tactics - a carefully planned set of actions that are used by a team or an individual to achieve a certain goal
Outwit - using tactics and strategies to gain an advantage over our opponents.
Communication - exchanging information, ideas, thoughts or feelings
Common misconception
Pupils believe that batting is more important than effective fielding, when in fact, good fielding is equally vital to success in rounders.
Ensure pupils understand the importance of good tactics in both batting and fielding. Pupils should realise that if they limit their opponents from scoring rounders, it will be easier to win the game.
