- Move: accurate throwing, catching and retrieving skills are vital to prevent the batters from scoring rounders.
- Move: to prevent the batting team scoring, we must react fast to retrieve the ball and throw quickly back to the target.
- Think: when batting, we have to decide which base to run to depending on how well we strike the ball.
- Feel: following the rules of the game and playing fairly shows excellent integrity.
- Connect: working together when we are struggling demonstrates good cooperation.

Fielding - when players on the team that is not batting try to catch or stop the ball and get the batters out

Common misconception
When pupils are batting and they run around the bases, they often run inside the bases, which is against the rules of the game.
Ensure pupils know the rule that they must run around the outside of the bases when running.
