Respond to challenges with persistence and focus
Lesson details
Learning outcome
I can remain focused under pressure and respond to challenges with determination.
Key learning points
- Move: positioning your body side on to the attacker helps you make a legal tackle without losing balance.
- Move: use an open hand to knock the ball out of your opponent’s hands when tackling.
- Think: anticipating where your opponent may move to helps you get into position early and make an effective tackle.
- Feel: timing the tackle is challenging and takes determination to keep trying, even if you miss the first attempt.
- Connect: showing respect and kindness to others is harder when under pressure.
