We are all born into a culture. Every culture has interesting and positive things about it. We should be open-minded and curious about the lives and cultures of people around us.
Teacher tip
Create time and space to celebrate the cultures of children in your class. Consider holding events where children and their families can explain and share traditions, objects, artworks, clothing and ideas that are important to them.
