Identify - To identify something is to be able to name it correctly.
Common misconception
Pupils may think that all plants have flowers all year round and that all flowers look the same.
Use examples of plants at different times of the year, both with and without flowers, as well as examples of plants with flowers of various colours, shapes, and sizes.
