  1. Knowing the nutritional information of what we eat is important so we can make informed decisions.
  2. The nutritional information of most pre-packed food in the UK can be found on the label.
  3. Some nutritional information is colour-coded to make it simple to understand quickly.
  4. Nutritional information is provided per 100 grams or per 100 millilitres and sometimes per portion of the food or drink.
  5. Nutrition information helps us compare foods in a fair way and be aware of foods that are high in fat, salt and sugar.
