All Spanish verb forms for -ar verbs end in -ar.
Spanish -ar verbs end in o-, -as, -a, -amos depending on who they refer to. -o for 'I', -as for 'you', -a for 'she, he, it' and -amos for 'we'
Teacher tip
After the speaking activity, teachers might want to ask students to describe what their dogs/pets do or not do, as well as what they do together with their dogs/pets. This would facilitate further practice of the present tense (1st and 3rd person singular and 1st person plural).
