Common misconception
When answering questions, I can use the verb in the question to start my answer.
You can start your answer using the question verb but it's important to not copy the question word-for-word. If questions use 2nd person verbs, you need to change them to 1st person, changing 'you' verbs into 'I' or 'we' forms.
Teacher tip
Teachers can use task C1 to carry out a survey on intentions for future plans. Students would benefit from asking the questions several times with different partners, removing support every time to ensure they are answering the questions with increasing confidence and spontaneity.
