- Move: to shoot, keep feet shoulder width apart, knees bent, control the backswing, and follow through to the target.
- Move: we need to move quickly into an attacking space, so we can receive a pass from our teammate and shoot at goal.
- Think: evaluating our shooting helps us maintain accuracy and leads to scoring more points.
- Feel: striving to always try our best with our shooting even when we are struggling demonstrates excellent resilience.
- Connect: we must communicate appropriately with our team, the opposition and the officials to always show respect.

Common misconception
Many pupils believe that the harder they hit the ball, the better their shot will be. This leads to a lack of accuracy and technique.
Encourage pupils to focus on using the correct technique and highlight the importance of accuracy over power.
Pair less confident pupils with more confident pupils to encourage collaboration and peer learning.
