Common misconception
Most people have enough fruit and vegetables in their diet.
Most people need to eat more fruit and vegetables. We need at least 5 A DAY.
Teacher tip
Use a range of familiar and unfamiliar fruit and vegetables. Fresh, canned and dried varieties could be used. Encourage pupils to describe the appearnce and smell. Some pupils may not taste all types. Give positive prasie to everyone for taking part. Always check for allergies, e.g. celery.
