Keywords
Present participle - verb form ending in -ant in French; the structure en + present participle translates into English as while or by + -ing
Comparative - a form of adjective or adverb used to compare people, things or ideas
Superlative - a form of adjective or adverb used to express the highest degree of a quality e.g. the tallest, the most interesting
Common misconception
The superlative in French always goes before the noun it describes, like in English.
Superlatives may go before or after the noun they describe. The rule that applies is BRAGS - if an adjective goes before the noun according to the BRAGS rule, its superlative form will also go before the noun.
