  • Question - seeks information

  • Statement - gives information

  • Part of speech - refers to a type of word, such as a noun, verb, adjective

Common misconception

A bilingual dictionary lists words from A-Z in one long list.

A bilingual dictionary is split into two sections. These is German to English, and English to German. Each section lists words from A-Z. To find the English meaning of a German word, look for it in the German to English section, and vice versa.
