Giving 2 or 3 numbers to establish a pattern then reducing to 2 and then just the given number.
This lesson can be taught with the slides as teacher notes and you may decide not to show them to pupils. Repeat commonly missed numbers in tasks and checks. The more opportunities to practice, the more secure pupils will become.
