Common misconception
Children may struggle to recall multiplication facts related to the 5 and 10 times tables.
Using times table charts where needed throughout this unit will support children in recalling facts and enable them to focus on seeing the relationships, e.g. between the 5 and 10 times table. These can be used until children become more fluent.
