Lesson details

Key learning points

  1. Pupils will be involved in walking and running activities.
  2. Pupils will know the effects of exercise on the body (heart rate / breathing rate).
  3. Pupils will know how to stop and start safely.
  4. Pupils will be able to describe how to change direction / change speed (demonstrate what body parts move and how they move).

Equipment

Items (cones or similar) to create a start / end point / zig-zag course.
