Linking balances together
Key Stage 3
Year 7
Physical education
When linking your balances together, it is important to carefully plan the order of balances and movements so you can transition smoothly in between balances, to perform with fluidity and maintain momentum. To help you create a sequence that shows creativity and flow, you should map out your sequence carefully. Perfect your balances and movements first, making sure you have good body awareness before linking them, and practise transitions between movements slowly first, with control and extension, to ensure you perform with no pauses.
