When pupils evaluate each others performances, they overlook the important details such as performing with control, extension, flow and accurate timing.

Make sure pupils are using the worksheet to help them evaluate the sequences so that they focus on the fundamentals that make a sequence high quality.

      Teacher tip

Pupils should watch their partner pair's performance once before watching again using the worksheet to evaluate the performance. Pupils should try to give high quality feedback providing specific ways that sequences can be improved.
