Lesson details

Key learning points

  1. Move: using the correct technique to demonstrate fitness based exercises to ensure maximum progress.
  2. Think: strategically planning the timing of a fitness circuit will increase the opportunity for maximal involvement.
  3. Feel: organising the timing of the session will provide clarity and can relieve stress when leading.
  4. Connect: organised leaders are able to prioritise time to interact with team members to address their needs.

Keywords

  • Punctual - arrives or does things at the time they planned

  • Prioritise - deciding which tasks are most important to do and completing them first

  • Organised - a leader who plans efficiently, manages equipment, time and other people so everything runs without any issues

Common misconception

Pupils think punctuality is merely about turning up to lessons on time.

Punctuality is linked to arrival time, but is also about completing tasks on time and being respectful for the time of others. This is achieved by being organised, fulfilling the task and being dependable.
