Common misconception
Pupils perform movements too fast or too slow which disrupts the flow of the kata.
Performing Chon-Ji at a consistent tempo and speed helps to develop cardiovascular and muscular endurance. It enhances mental focus and breath control. The different speeds simulate real combat situations which will vary in speed and acceleration.
