Pupils will analyse why Jerusalem is a sacred place for many Jews, Christians and Muslims. From this they will explain what the experience of visiting sacred places might mean. Investigating case studies of Makkah and the Shi'a shrine of Karbala will deepen their sense of diversity in Islam.
