After studying polygons and circles in depth in previous units, this year culminates in learning to mathematically construct these shapes using knowledge of the properties of triangles, quadrilaterals and circles in order to draw them accurately.

Constructions

In this unit we develop skills in using a pair of compasses and ruler to construct various accurate shapes and angles including triangles, rhombi, perpendicular lines and angle bisectors.
