Synopticity: How do different ideas and concepts in Citizenship interconnect?

Description

Pupils revisit key citizenship concepts from previous units and consider how they relate to each other, demonstrating their ability to draw together different areas of knowledge, skills and understanding.

This unit brings together learning from across the entire sequence. It prepares students for answering extended response questions in their GCSE which will relate to two of more specification themes.

  1. What does population have to do with politics?
  2. What does the media have to do with immigration?
  3. What does national government have to do with local government?
  4. What does the economy have to do with politics?
  5. What does the law have do to with campaigning?
  6. What does the judiciary have to do with human rights?
  7. What do NGOs have to do with human rights?
  8. How do NGOs work with international agencies?
  9. How does media limit the power of government?
