Description

This unit teaches pupils about the causes and challenges of rapid urban growth. Pupils will learn about the trends and causes of urbanisationand will study how cities change over time.

Pupils can build on their understanding of global inequalities and on their study of Indonesia to consider the global pattern of urbanisation. Pupils can use their knowledge gained in the subsequent unit on Jakarta.
