This unit revisits singular forms of 'ser' in the imperfect, and expands pupils' knowledge with plural forms. Pupils strengthen their understanding by contrasting the imperfect with the present. Pupils anchor third person forms of 'ser' and 'estar' with demonstrative adjectives in sentences with new comparative 'tan...como', and with new suffixes '-ito', '-ita', -ísimo' and '-ísima' to talk about the natural world.
