Description

This unit introduces the water cycle and explores how water moves through natural and built environments. Pupils investigate how water is used, supplied and owned, and consider how access to water differs in the UK and around the world.

This unit introduces pupils to the water cycle as a key geographical process, building on their understanding of weather and rivers. Its placement encourages thinking about water as a global system and resource, supporting future study of sustainability and environmental change.
