Description

In this unit pupils will focus firstly on the relationship between religion and science - looking at ideas of creation. They will examine how religions view the world - examining concepts such as stewardship. Finally they will examine how religions speak about the sanctity of life.

This unit is situated in Year 11 when pupils have had the opportunity to study two religions in depth. They could build on their learning about relationships and family to consider the wider question of sanctity of life, applying this to arguments around abortion and euthanasia.
