Description

Pupils will develop their understanding of abstract painting and make more sophisticated connections. They will build confidence in taking risks with new ideas, look at different tools and techniques, and learn to communicate with symbols and marks.

This unit encourages pupils to delve into personal expression and self-discovery through art. Building on their existing skills, pupils will learn to articulate their thoughts, emotions, and experiences visually. This unit promotes emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and creativity. It prepares pupils for more advanced art projects by encouraging them to explore and communicate personal narratives and connections through their work.
