Description

This unit starts by offering pupils insights into diverse career opportunities within the creative industries, looking at Fashion in more detail. It leads into a textiles unit exploring different elements of textiles and fabric manipulation

This unit builds on pupils' existing skills by enhancing their ability to research, analyse, and understand the creative industries. Learning about the economic impact and roles of creative institutions enhances their awareness of the broader context of their artistic practice. Investigating creative jobs, networks, and funding opportunities builds on their knowledge of career development and professional practice. Exploring career progression fosters their ability to plan and set goals for their future.
