Description

Pupils will develop essential print making skills, explore connections between media and materials. They will learn to control various printmaking tools and be aware of the sustainability of their materials. They will recycle tetrapak and card to make their print blocks.

This unit supports pupils as they integrate the important concept of sustainability into their artistic practice. Building on their existing skills, pupils will learn to create prints that are environmentally conscious and promotes sustainable practices. This unit promotes critical thinking, innovation, and responsibility. It prepares pupils for future art projects by encouraging them to consider the environmental impact of their work and to think creatively about sustainable solutions.
