Description

Pupils will explore how creative making can support health and wellbeing through personal expression and use art for self-discovery. Inspired by artistic practice they will investigate art as a tool for transformation and connection, using memories and reflections to support a sense of belonging.

This unit encourages pupils to delve into personal expression and self-discovery through art. Building on their existing skills, pupils will learn to articulate their thoughts, emotions, and experiences visually. This unit promotes expression, critical thinking, and creativity. It prepares pupils for more advanced art projects by encouraging them to explore and communicate personal narratives and connections through their work.
