In this unit pupils will consider how religions and worldviews are portrayed in the media and what information can be trusted. They will investigate misconceptions and streotyping, before considering how media can be used safely and responsibly to build relationships and live with difference.

  3. Social media: how does it influence our views on religion and belief?
  4. Living online together: how can we do this respectfully?

  • Pupils will understand and use the term worldviews confidently.
  • Pupils will know that some followers of religions and beliefs can be bullied or harassed due to their beliefs.
  • Pupils will know that there is much misinformation as well as information in the social media world.
