Description

In this unit pupils will study how religious and non-religious worldviews interact in the workplace. Taking case studies across a range of work environments they will consider how issues of religion may impact how people may work together and what considerations may be made.

  • Pupils will use the terms worldview, personal and organised worldview confidently.
  • Pupils will know terms such as halal and haram and understand some religious worldviews have rules over diet and preparation of food.
  • Pupils will know that people may have an identity connected to a worldview, but may practice it in various ways.
  • Pupils will know that social scientists investigate how people live and use tools such as interviews and data analysis.
