Description

In this unit pupils will use a range of skills across several pieces of software. They will work between applications to create a poster and slides on a given theme. The unit is designed so that pupils can apply skills that they may have previously learnt as well as those learnt in the unit.

As pupils move from primary to secondary school, this unit supports their transition by building on digital skills developed in KS2. It helps them use the school network safely and respectfully while working across multiple applications. By creating a poster and presentation, pupils learn to combine text and images to communicate ideas clearly - skills they will apply across subjects throughout secondary school.
