Description

In this unit, pupils will explore how data science and AI tools are having an impact on our daily lives. They will develop an understanding of how to use these tools effectively as well as an awareness of the issues relating to trust, bias and misinformation.

AI, machine learning and data science are part of pupils’ daily lives through the apps, websites and tools they already use at home and in school. This unit helps them reflect on these experiences and understand how such technologies shape the world around them. Pupils learn to use these tools effectively while recognising potential risks, developing the judgment needed to become safe, discerning and responsible users of emerging digital systems.
