Description

Pupils must be able to identify how the modern structure of the workplace will impact their future lives. This unit will facilitate a deeper comprehension of the methods employed by organisations and the impact the use of IT in the working environment has on all stakeholders.

As pupils prepare for life beyond school, they build on experiences of technology gained at home and in school to understand how IT shapes the modern workplace. This unit explores how digital tools support collaboration, remote work, and communication, and how these changes affect both organisations and employees. Pupils also consider issues of accessibility and inclusivity, helping them recognise the skills and awareness needed to thrive in a digital world of work.
