Description

This unit, comprising of three variants, teaches pupils about processes and landforms associated with coastal, river and glacial landscapes. Pupils will learn about the formative processes involved in creating distinctive landforms and of the need for management.

Pupils can build on their previous knowledge of the UK's physical geography and geology by focusing on physical processes and landforms in landscape development. Pupils may draw upon their knowledge gained in the subsequent unit on fieldwork.
