Home learning: moving with athleticism

Description

This unit will support the development of complex and demanding movement combinations with a focus on purpose, precision and power. Pupils will accurately replicate complex movement combinations and reflect on their performance before refining and repeating.

Pupils will already have developed their confidence moving with agility, balance, core stability, body tension and coordination. Pupils will plan and experiment with complex movement sequences. Pupils will have the chance to further develop their reflective and analytical skills.

  • Pupils know that quality movement requires good body awareness, balance and control.
