Description

In this unit pupils explore the concepts of identity, community, migration and belonging.

Building on their learning from key stage 3 pupils explore what makes a community and how the nature of communities can change over time. Understanding the complexity of identities and communities is crucial for their awareness of diversity and their sense of belonging. This learning helps pupils to reflect on their own identities, understanding others and contribute positively in their communities.
