Description

Pupils explore what identity is and how the UK population is changing considering how diverse the UK is and exploring mutual respect and understanding between different groups within society.

Building on prior learning around identities and communities this unit analyses what identity is, how it can evolve over time and the impact this has on the population and communities in the UK. Through exploring these concepts now pupils can better understand and engage with a range of diverse communities, preparing them to be informed and active citizens.
