Description

Pupils look at the role of local and national government and identify reserved and devolved powers in the UK.

Pupils explore the distribution of power within their country. Understanding where power resides in the UK builds on their knowledge of power and government. By exploring these concepts now, pupils can critically evaluate how power is allocated and exercised and how they can bring their voice to power, preparing them for informed participation in civic life.
