Description

Pupils learn what the economy is, what taxes are and consider local and central government spending and risk management.

This unit builds on prior learning around personal finance and managing money through looking at basic economic concepts and principles. Pupils examines how the UK Government manages its finances and the impact on citizens and public services. By the end, pupils will understand the balance between economic decisions, taxation, and public service provision in the UK.
